I feel compelled to stick up for. While one wants to be getle and graceful with corrections- -and as much as I don't like being a stickler for precision- -if one spends all day in IT matters, the misplaced caps (ie.e, MAC the acronym vs Mac the abbreviation/nickname) does cause an annoying cognitive stumble. It's like having to read a sentace three times beacuse of a confusing mispelling or gramatical flop.
